A Nissan web series starring Karine Vanasse

Thrill-seeking has long been a cornerstone of Nissan’s advertising initiatives. To further explore this theme, the agency developed a web series that follows the auto manufacturer’s spokesperson as she experiences a range of emotions.
“The idea was to have Karine Vanasse participate in a sort of car rally to visit various places across Quebec, filled with clues and surprises. Each episode features a Nissan vehicle that takes Karine to a secret destination,” said Anne-Marie Lemay, Creative Lead on the Nissan account at Tam-Tam\TBWA.
From one episode to another, we follow Karine as she learns to drive a stick shift, trains as a circus artist, and becomes a firefighter for a day.
“Beyond the initial adrenaline rush, it was important to us that each activity allow Karine to learn something new, as if Nissan was inviting her to indulge her curiosity,” added Anne-Marie Lemay.
A foray into car racing
In the first episode, Karine learns to drive a stick shift with Valérie Limoges, the Nissan Sentra Cup champion.
Getting acrobatic with Cirque du Soleil
After accomplishing her first challenge, Karine heads to Cirque du Soleil to immerse herself in the high-flying world of circus arts.
In the heat of the action
Sports aren’t the only things that can get the adrenaline pumping. In the third episode, the Laval Fire Department welcomes Karine to fire station 6. Will the actress agree to experience a day in the life of a firefighter?
